Super easy Sunday recipe for homemade oat milk. It’s really cheap to make it and doesn’t require any special preparation like soaking the oats. So in less than 5 minutes, you can have your own delicious, creamy oat milk.

  1. Pour the oats, water into a blender and blend on high until smooth.
  2. Strain the milk through nut cloth, strainer. I use our tea pot that seams like it was made for it.
  3. You will be left with oat pulp. You can use the pulp for cooking, smoothies or as your face mask.
  4. Refrigerate your oat milk for 2-3 days. Shake it well before every use.
Recipe Notes

If you don´t want the strong oaty flavor, you might want to add some flavorings to it. A couple of teaspoons of vanilla extract will take the oat taste away. And some type of sweetener to make it extra delicious. I added maple syrup mmmm.

You can even mix in some cacao powder to turn it into chocolate oat milk.

TIP: Homemade oat milk hates to be heated up. I did this mistake and it turned my coffee into jelly-monster.
