Earth Day: Easy ways to become more environmentally friendly person

I know that a lot of information, facts and eco tips are thrown at us every day (especially today) and nobody can start doing them all overnight. I´m here to show you today how you can make smarter choices during your normal workday. And just for fun, I wanna show you that through a story about a woman called Mathilda.

My low waste toiletry kit – Update

Cutting plastic out of your life is a process. Don´t feel bad if you have a lot of plastic in your bathroom right now. Use what you have and recycle the bottles. If you don´t use some of the products, sell them or just give them away if they are still good. And after that buy more consciously, DIY some products, experiment. I hope I can make even more products at home in the future, but right now I have all I need.

My November Instant Diary

I really enjoy checking Instagram posts and stories of people´s work, traveling, news, info, experiences or just everyday life. Scrolling through nice outdoor adventure photos, travel with people all over the globe through their stories. And although a lot of Instagram is fake these days, we can try our best to keep it as honest and raw as possible. Here is my November in stories.

Wait, what? Now there is plastic in my tea too?

About 70-80% of tea bags are made from compostable paper while the remaining 20-30% contains heat-resistant polypropylene. This is to prevent the breaking of the bag, but it does mean that small pieces of plastic mesh are left behind in the soil when you compost the bags. This is just something the brands will never share with us.

DOING YOUR BEST – MY ZERO WASTE FAILS

My way of showing you that we all fail sometimes. Hope they make you feel a little bit better, give you some hope and a push to give it a try. Going zero waste doesn´t happen over night. It takes time and a lot of researching, especially if you don´t live in a city and your options are limited. It´s about trying your best. It´s about producing less waste. Every plastic that we avoid buying matters.
